Harinagar, Middle Andaman, Oct 15: Mr. Mithun Halder, DRM, BSNL Exchange, Mr. Gour Mazumder, Mr. Subal Halder and Mr. Ashok Halder (villagers) have been awarded by the Gram Panchayat Harinagar today for their bravery and courage shown during 8th & 9th October 2013, when the area was hit by very heavy rainfall due to Cyclone Phailin.
The Award was given away by Mr. Soni Thomas Up Adhayaksh, N&M Andaman. Mr. Thomas also assured to request the Administration to award to Mithun Halder and other three youths from the side of Administration too.
