Port Blair, May 19: A meeting was held at Govindapur Old Colony, under Basantipur Gram Panchayat on May 19, 2013, which was attended by nearly 231 villagers. During the meeting nearly 200 TMC workers and supporters joined BJP. Besides this a large number of Congress supporters have also joined BJP.
TMC and Congress have lost faith of common man. This is what forced these workers to leave their parties to join BJP.
