Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 10: The Last date for registration and uploading of one-minute video has been extended to 16th March, 2025, according to the Chairman and Principal Law College Dr. P V N Sarma, Viksit Bharat – Youth Parliament 2025. The students should take it up as their program and voice their opinion regarding the concept of Viksit Bharat, he said. While thanking the students for their overwhelming response, he appealed to take it to all the students.
To encourage more participation and to ensure hassle-free uploading of videos the Government of India took this decision, said the Deputy Director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Mr. Sukhranjan Biswas in a meeting held with NSS Programme officers of Sri Vijaya Puram College here on Monday at Andaman Law College. A team of functionaries of NYK and Programme Officers of JNRM, ANCOL, DBRAIT, Government ITI Dollygunj, TGCE and ALC reviewed the programme.
To speed up the momentum, a five-member student team from each college were trained by Mr. Harish Kumar, State Coordinator, Viksit Bharat. Student teams from JNRM, ANCOL, DBRAIT, Government ITI, TGCE and ALC participated in the session, where in Mr. Santosh Kumar trained them how to reach the students. The discussion focused on involving more student youth through various strategies. Banners were displayed in all the colleges, skits, street plays were carried out. Social media campaign is in progress eliciting more participation. Youth should take this program with patriotic zeal to keep the legacy of Andaman during the freedom struggle, said the speakers. While indicating some ideas, Viksit Bharat includes empowerment of youth, a corruption free India, Green India, A self-reliant India, Digital India, Poverty-free India etc.
