Diglipur, February 20: A & N Islands Khadi & Village Industries Board and Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences, A & N Administration, Sri Vijaya Puram jointly organized a Skilled Development Training under capacity Building program of KVIB in poultry farming one month course from 2oth January 2025 to 19th February 2025 at Veterinary Hospital, Diglipur.
According to information, a total number of 35 candidates participated in the poultry farming training. During the 1 month training program, participants reportedly actively participated in the actual field training and training at composite livestock farm, sitanagar.
After completion of the training, a valedictory function was arranged at the Conference Hall of Industries Department, Diglipur. Shri Kamleshswar Rao S (IAS), Assistant Commissioner, Diglipur was the Chief Guest while Shri R. Rajendra Kumar, Block Development Officer, Diglipur and Smti Arti Singh, Assistant Director, Agriculture Department, Diglipur were the guest of honour on the occasion. K. Veer Raj, PRI member, GP Diglipur was the Special Guest. Dr. Nagnath Bhojane, Senior Veterinary Officer, Veterinary Hospital, Diglipur gave a brief information regarding one month training. Ms. Bibi Afreen Nisha, Industries Promotion Officer, Industries Department emphasized on the importance of skill development for upgradation of economical status of every person.
The Chief Guest Shri Kamleshswar Rao S (IAS), spoke on the occasion and highlighted the importance of livestock for betterment of routine human life. The Assistant Commissioner advised the trainees to apply the skills in the field to increase poultry production and fullfil the demand of Diglipur zone. The Provisional Certificates were distributed with the hands of the dignitaries to the trainees.
The one month training program was successfully completed under the guidance of Director, AH & VS, Sri Vijaya Puram in collaboration with the guidance of Director, Industries & Member Secretary, A & N Islands, KVIB, Sri Vijaya Puram.
