Diglipur, 10 February: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday, February 8, registered a sweeping win in the Delhi Assembly Elections. The BJP won 48 of 70 assembly seats in Delhi — comfortably crossing the halfway mark needed to form government in the union territory. And in wake of this victory, the BJP Diglipur Unit celebrated it by bursting crackers in front of the BJP Office, Diglipur in the evening today.
The newly elected Diglipur BJP District President Smti Alpana Mondal, Smti Suniti Halder, ZPM Keralapuram Constituency and Shri Asit Baroi, the BJP Observer, N & M Andaman spoke on the BJP’s victory. The BJP emerged victorious by winning 48 seats while the AAP secured only 22 seats, the jubilant BJP local leaders said.
