Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 03: The District Administration, as part of its ongoing efforts to protect public land, conducted a significant eviction drive at Austinabad Village.
During the drive, six unauthorized encroachments were identified and dismantled. These encroachments, primarily in the form of fencing, were found on Government Revenue land. Through this decisive action, a total area of 4,500 square meters (0.45 hectares) of government land was successfully reclaimed and restored to its original status.
The District Administration, South Andaman reaffirms its commitment to ensuring the protection of public resources and preventing their misuse. Strict action will continue to be taken against any such violations in accordance with established laws.
