Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 29: It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I express my condolences on the passing of Mr. K. Muthu, a stalwart leader of the Congress party and a beloved figure in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Mr. K. Muthu was not just a politician but a guiding light for all of us. His unwavering dedication to the Congress party and his selfless service to the people of these islands will always be remembered. His contribution to the development of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, especially at the grassroots level, has left an indelible mark on our community.
A man of humble origins, Mr. Muthu rose through sheer hard work, sincerity, and a deep commitment to the welfare of the people. As a former councillor and ex-Adhyaksha of the Zilla Parishad, he demonstrated exemplary leadership. His vision for the region and his tireless efforts to empower the common man set him apart as a true statesman.
For me personally, his guidance was invaluable. His wisdom and integrity shaped many of my decisions in my political journey. He was not just a mentor but a source of inspiration, teaching us the importance of serving with humility and dedication.
His loss is an irreparable one, not only to the Congress party but to the entire community that benefited from his compassionate leadership.
I offer my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones in this moment of grief. May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength and comfort in the enduring legacy of service and love that he leaves behind.
