Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 29: In a formal appeal to Dr. Dilraj Kaur, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, the Hindu Rashtra Shakti has raised concerns about inadequate transportation facilities for students in Little Andaman’s Hutbay area.
Mr. Rakeshwar Lall, State President of Hindu Rashtra Shakti, highlighted in the letter that the current bus arrangements are insufficient, leading to overcrowding and delays. He noted that many students face challenges in attending their classes on time due to the limited seating capacity of the available buses.
The organization has proposed two solutions to resolve the issue:
1. Deploying a bigger bus with higher seating capacity during school hours.
2. Introducing an additional bus along the existing route.
The appeal emphasized that enhancing transportation services would ensure the safety, comfort, and punctuality of students in the region.
Mr. Lall expressed confidence that the Andaman and Nicobar Administration would consider their request and take prompt action to provide a suitable solution for the benefit of the students.
