Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 22:As part of the Smart City Project, the Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council, under Smart Projects Limited (PBSPL), has launched a comprehensive city-wide survey to create a digital database of individual properties within the urban area. This pioneering initiative aims to enhance citizen services, streamline property management, and bolster urban planning for a more efficient and sustainable future.
The survey is being conducted by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) through its consortium partner firm, M/s Allvy Software Solutions Pvt Ltd., with the active involvement of dedicated field teams. The survey will cover households, commercial establishments, and institutions, including the open plots/ areas, and will gather key information on property details.
The SVPMC urges all citizens to extend their cooperation by providing the necessary documents& information to the survey team. Teams will carry official ID cards, and citizens are encouraged to verify their credentials in case of any doubts. The contact details of the team members will also be made available for public reference to ensure transparency.
The following documents are required to complete the survey process:
1. Property Tax Receipt
2. Water Tax Receipt
3. Electricity Bill
4. Trade License Documents (for commercial establishments)
5. Aadhar Card Information
6. SVPMC-Citizen ID
This initiative is a step towards creating a centralized digital property database, benefiting both the government and residents by ensuring efficient service delivery, enhanced transparency, and ease of access to property-related information.
The SVPMC assures the public that all collected information will be handled with strict confidentiality and utilized solely for the purpose of improving urban governance and management services.
