Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 24: In a swift and efficient operation carried out on 22/11/2024, the OP Kishori Nagar police successfully confiscated a significant quantity of illicit liquor at Talbagan forest, Kishori Nagar.
Acting promptly on a tip, a team consisting of Sub-Inspector Inderjit, PCs Ripon Mistry, Hazrat Kumar and Irenious of OP Kishori Nagar successfully seized a significant quantity of 205 liters of Lehan alongwith 03 Nos. Jerrican, 01 plastic Bucket, 01 No. Iron container and 01 No. Aluminum container. These were discreetly hidden within the jungle. Subsequently, all confiscated items were promptly destroyed, dealing a major blow to the illegal liquor manufacturing network.
The entire operation was carried out under the vigilant supervision of Mr. Ankesh Yadav, SDPO Diglipur and the overall supervision of Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District.
