Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 21: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Mr. Rangalal Halder has made an appeal to the Lieutenant Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, highlighting the urgent need for the creation of Graduate Trained Teacher (GTT) Computer Science posts in our Islands.
In his Letter, Mr. Halder expressed deep concern over the prolonged neglect of this issue, which has persisted for more than 15 years. This delay has left numerous qualified computer science educators in the islands without the opportunity to contribute to the educational framework.
Mr. Halder pointed out that many aspiring teachers with computer science qualifications have been forced to accept low-paying jobs outside their specialization, which neither align with their skills nor meet their career aspirations.
Mr. Halder stated that the creation of GTT Computer Science Teacher posts is a pressing need which is to address while ensuring that students in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands receive the quality computer science education they deserve.
He further appeals to the LG to take swift action and resolve this critical issue for the betterment of our Islanders.”
