Education Department Part-time Employees Union (CITU) Welcomes Re-engagement of Pre-Primary Teachers and Staff for 2024-25 Academic Session

Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 22: The Education Department Part-time Employees Union (CITU) welcomes the decision of the Education Department to re-engage all the Part-time Pre-Primary Teachers, Pre-Primary Ayahs, Craft Instructors, etc for the academic session 2024-25 following the approval conveyed by the Ministry of Education for continuation of Temporary Plan and Non-Plan Posts in the Education Department. After the re-opening of schools on 1st July, 2024, the extension of the services of above categories of the employees was not done by the Education Department pending approval from the Government of India. The Education Department Part-time Employees Union has been continuously pursuing this matter with the Education Department and A & N Administration during the last more than two months.
