Port Blair, Sept. 12: As part of the 70th Wildlife Week Celebration, 2024, the Wildlife Division, Department of Environment & Forests, A&N Administration is organizing various competitions and the winners will be rewarded suitably. The competitions being organized are as mentioned below:

The competition is open to the residents of A & N Islands and participants interested in either of the competitions shall submit their work as detailed below:
- Photograph of the size 18” X 12” (Inches) without any watermark, copyright mark etc in a hard copy along with a soft copy in JPEG format either in a DVD or a Pen Drive.
- Canvas Art Painting should be submitted in a canvas cloth of the size 24” X 32” made using traditional materials like pencil, oil paints etc.
- Posters of the size 24” x 36” either pencil sketch or colour paintings communicating the components of the poster in an organized and logical flow with clarity of the content.
The entries may be submitted on any working days between 0900 hrs to 1500 hrs or may be sent through post/courier to ‘The Range Officer, Protection Range, Office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Wildlife Division , Haddo, Port Blair, Pin: 744102 on or before 30th September, 2024 by 1500 hrs. The participants should furnish their name, address, contact number and e-mail address separately in a plain paper for correspondence. Downloaded/Printed Photographs/Posters/Canvas, if submitted, would summarily be rejected. The photographs/Canvas/Posters etc. once submitted, vest with the Department and the Department shall hold the rights to use the photographs etc. for any awareness programmes etc. on public interest with due credit to the photographer, in original or by reproducing it.
