Port Blair, Jul 25: In a significant step towards enhancing disaster response capabilities, a 3-day training program on Disaster Management and Preparedness, focusing on Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) and Medical First Response (MFR), was conducted at Police Station Diglipur. This essential training was led by experienced staff from the Disaster Management Cell, Port Blair.
From 23/07/2024 to 25/07/2024, the training provided the personnel with valuable insights and practical skills essential for effective disaster management. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including emergency response strategies, safety protocols, and medical first aid techniques.
The program aimed to equip our staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to better serve and protect our community during emergencies. The successful completion of this training underscores the commitment to improving disaster preparedness and response efforts in the region.
