Empowering Rural Women: With You NGO and Gram Panchayat Bambooflat 1 Concludes Successful MEDP Program in Tailoring and Fashion Designing

Port Blair, Mar 20: With You NGO, in collaboration with Gram Panchayat Bambooflat 1, has successfully concluded a transformative 21-day Micro-Enterprise Development Program (MEDP) in tailoring and fashion designing, held at the Nayabasti Community Hall. The intensive training program, which began on February 12, 2024, and concluded on March 16, 2024, was aimed at empowering rural women by equipping them with valuable tailoring and fashion designing skills.
The closing ceremony was graced by Mrs. Sobha Roy, the esteemed Principal of PM SHRI GSSS Bambooflat, who served as the Chief Guest. In a significant moment of achievement and recognition, Mrs. Roy distributed certificates to the 35 trainees who successfully completed the course, marking their first step towards self-reliance and entrepreneurial success.
The ceremony showcased an impressive display of stitched garments and handicraft items crafted by the participants, demonstrating the practical skills and creative talents developed during the program.
