Port Blair, Feb 25: Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Andaman & Nicobar welcomed the first tribal women President of India Mrs. Droupadi Murmu on her recent visit to Andaman & Nicobar Islands. During her visit many issues were addressed in a gentle manner which will lead India in a brighter future. The people of these Islands heartily welcomed her visit and many organizations, personalities and groups were represented before the Hon’ble President of India who was called on 21st February, 2024 at Raj Niwas, Port Blair.
In this course, a delegation of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Andaman & Nicobar has also met Mrs. Droupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India and represented the matter of Chota Nagpuri Ranchi Community. Wherein various issues and problems pertaining to the Chota Nagpuri Ranchi Community were discussed and assurance have also been made that issues will be taken to the Govt. of India in a right way. A Memorandum in this regard is also handed over to President of India by the delegation of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram and expressed their gratitude to hear them. The Hon’ble President of India heard all the issues and suggested in the matter for the upliftment of the Chota Nagpuri Ranchi Community of these Islands that a detailed comprehensive note incorporating facts and figures may be submitted at the earliest which are to be looked upon.
