Port Blair, Nov 10: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee President Mr. Rangalal Halder has highlighted a matter of utmost importance concerning the healthcare facilities in the North and Middle Andaman region, specifically at the Community Health Centers at Rangat, Mayabunder, and Diglipur.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, Mr. Halder said that the ongoing construction of the NH-4 road has significantly hindered accessibility to specialized medical treatments at Port Blair for the residents of these areas.

He added that , Significant steps are to be taken for stationing specialist doctors at the Community Health centers in Rangat, Mayabunder, and Diglipur until the completion of the NH-4 road project to ensure the well-being of the local residents.
In the light of these concerns, Mr. Halder has further requested the Administration for immediate attention and intervention to address the healthcare needs of the affected population and to mitigate any further loss of lives.
