Port Blair, Oct 22: The Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma laid the foundation stone for the construction of a 190-meter long CC (Concrete Cement) road with side drains at Ward Number 23 on 20.10.2023.
The construction work with an estimated cost of about Rs. 37,00,000 was sanctioned by the Member of Parliament under MPLADS funds, following demands raised by people of the region.
The event was attended by several prominent personalities and community leaders, including Radhika Dheeraj, the Ward Councillor, Mr. V Vetrivelu, Ward Councillor, Ward Number 19 and Mr. Sanjay Meshak former Ward Councillor.
Addressing the gathering Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma said that he is confident that this asset created under MPLADS fund will be of immense benefit for the residents of Ward Number 23 of PBMC.
