Mayabunder, Mar 16: Today, an under-19 cricket tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Abdul Siddique, Ex-Pramukh of Mayabunder, at Netaji Sports Complex, Mayabunder. The under-19 league cum knockout tournament was organized by Mr. Rakesh, Mr. Mohd Irfan and the team of youths.
Expressing his gratitude to the organizers and the youths, Mr. Abdul Siddique stated that he will try his level best to extend all possible help to the youths of Mayabunder in the field of sports. He further emphasized the importance of sports in the development of individuals and society as a whole.
The tournament is expected to witness some great cricketing action with teams from all over Mayabunder participating in it. Mr. Abdul Siddique extended his best wishes to all the participating teams and encouraged them to play with the spirit of sportsmanship and in a friendly atmosphere.
