Baratang, Dec 17: The Indian Coast Guard ship today brought 66 illegal immigrants, suspected to be Myanmarese or Bangladeshi Nationals, to Baratang Island. All these 66 illegal immigrants were reportedly going to some South East Asian Countries for job as a part of international body shopping network. All these 66 people, including 55 men, 5 women and six children were handed over to P S Baratang today, it is learnt.
According to reports, these people were found adrift in high sea in a wooden boat and were later rescued by Indian Coast Guard Ship.
